75th Madness: The Dresden Files, Volume 2: Moon Madness Mad

Business does not go hard. In fact, they are downright sick, and not even because an ancient curse! Chicago should be full of interesting business for the sole official magician of the country, yet Harry's calendar is as empty as the skull of a zombie. No job in sight, magical or not.
Fortunately, the police need to solve a murder Harry ... very special. If I tell you: a body to shreds; strange clawed footprints, the full moon ... ? Ah, it is far from Questions for a champion ...

Just finished Book 1, I continue with the reading of 2 because I enjoyed the style and history.
I must say we are not mistaken, there is good old Harry Dresden, the cop and Susan Murphy reporter as in the first. Once again, Harry finds a way to find themselves embroiled in a murky affair, this time it is about werewolves. But beware, we are taught that there are different types of werewolves and of course we will all meet in this story.
The style is really the same as in the first, so much so that sometimes has the impression of a copy-paste the first for entire paragraphs, such as the description of Dresden for example. It's a bit unfortunate and sometimes boring.
Otherwise, the book is very nice to read, and one can not help but sympathize with the troubles of Dresden. Moreover we say that it really seems to have a gift for attract the worst trouble imaginable problems that seem also to be worse than the first book. What is interesting is that this is not simply a new suite of trouble we could play like that, it is still preferable to having read the first book to fully understand certain references and some things. It also feels good at the end of this book, Harry's troubles seem far from over ...
In the end, so there was a reading once again very nice, far from being extraordinary, but fun, and I would read the further adventures of Harry Dresden with pleasure, but not right away, I think it is better breaks between volumes.

74th: The awakeners, Volume 1: Salicande

Jad and Claris are twins.
They are looking their mother, Sierra, mysteriously disappeared on the day of their third birthday. Why? Did this relationship with these enigmatic gifts whose twins seem to have inherited? This quest will lead Claris and Jad to push the boundaries of Salicande, their world. The world of childhood, but also the world of a past they do not know. The awakeners is a journey.
should embark with the characters. We must accept the mystery, and not want to understand everything. Open this book is to take all the risks.

This is a book that originally does not tempt me more than that, and then scroll saw many enthusiastic comments about it as a partnership organized by Livraddict.
So when passing the Library, I searched at random and found it. I started on site, to see if it was worth it to borrow. The first pages were quite friendly and portended a novel Youth Fantasy unpretentious fun to read. I could not more wrong. This book is more than just friendly and more than a banal novel Youth Fantasy. It is much more complex and much more addictive than that.
Once we began in earnest The awakeners, it is quite difficult to let go, it quickly attaches to the various characters we follow in this book. The main
which we think right now are obviously Jad and Claris twins who have the ability to communicate with each other telepathically. They seem to be the exact opposite one another on everything. One is lively and full of energy, and is interested in weapons and physical activity while his brother, due to heart disease, was devoted to more meditative and intellectual activities. They are both a painful injury, the loss of their mother at their third birthday. And while Jad was hung up at the slightest memory of that mother that nobody speaks, Claris she did everything to suppress those memories and act as if it had never existed. This
mother Sierra, although absent as a physical character of the story is somewhere yet a full-fledged character, given its importance for many other characters.
You can not put aside Blaise told The Mandarin tutor clever and intriguing old twins, who was a friend of their grandfather Jors founder Salicande. He taught them everything they know, but soon suspected that not everything he knows. Ugh
is the foster brother of the twins, it is deleted but they feel it is far to be stupid. It is the companion of all games of twins who always treat them as equals.
There are still many other characters relatively large, as Eben Duke, father of twins Chandra or their nurse and mother of Ugh, and other characters that the twins meet in history. The
feat Pauline Alphen with this book is to make us believe at first that we will read a book of fantasy, and then all of a sudden, it introduces some elements it suggests that we are wrong and that we are actually in a science fiction novel, and then again she says no we are in a fantasy novel. In fact, we are in a novel that could be called Science Fantasy. The term is often used to refer to the novels of Anne McCaffrey or some of Marion Zimmer Bradley. In any case, it is surprising at first, and finally we made it good and it makes the story richer, and we better understand the why of this world, why it is like he is.
Anyway, this book is really exciting, and the first volume was completed just want to jump on the action immediately.
is a novel that carries a message, an important message, the author tells us of a world that, unlike many novels of science fiction and fantasy novels even more, if not impossible to consider it. One can easily imagine that the world awakeners reality one day ...

Which Is The Best Investment Lic Or Ppf

73rd Madness: The Dresden Files, Volume 1: In the Eye of the Storm

PARANORMAL INVESTIGATIONS.
CONSULTATION & ADVICE.
ATTRACTIVE PRICES.
All good wizards called Harry, and Harry Dresden is the best. Technically, it is the only in its "class" if the Chicago police is a matter that transcends, that she turns towards him. Because our world is full of strange and magical things ... and most do not get along well with humans.
The magic that you gat a guy in less than two!

This is a very nice little book which reads very quickly, the evidence I've read in a day. We are therefore
Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden's full name. "According to three famous magicians" as he says himself. We recognize of course the famous illusionist Copperfield's David Copperfield 90 years. The other two are a little less obvious. Blackstone, actually refers to two magicians at the When Harry Blackstone Sr. and Harry Blackstone Jr., who seem to be best known in the United States. For my part, I thought that Harry was referring to Harry Houdini, who claimed to have Harry as the first name chosen in homage to Harry Kellar an illusionist he greatly admired.
But unlike those magicians who are really just magicians, illusionists, Harry is real magic, magic magic might say somehow. Magic-based spells and other potions ...
Potions whose ingredients are also well smile, "a patter of mice", "shadow flicker", "engine oil for taste" "Gatorade" (famous energy drink) ... Here there is no ingredient too "common" as the drooling toad and other trifles of the same style ...
Harry is a powerful magician, but it is especially foremost a kind of "loser", always broke, always badly dressed, and that always happens the worst trouble. But besides that, it seems to have a certain charm, since it seems he does not go unnoticed by women.
Harry is funny, it has a very good sense of humor. He also has a rather high opinion of himself at the magical level, he suggested several times in fact it is the best and the others are not worth much. Opinion obviously not shared by all when we see certain characters, or you learn some facts.
The story is well written, the pages are turned quickly to see what disaster will still be able to get to that poor Harry, who really seems to earn it the gift of trouble. Everyone was after him and everyone wants him dead.
For cons, the translation has made some adjustments and liberties with the original text that I was a little shocked. All the characters in Dresden are American, and yet a moment to talk about a woman says she Dresden reminds him a bit of a mixture of "Simone Signoret and Fanny Ardant" ... Sure, these are two great French actresses, but it must still admit that there is little chance that the average American woman compares two French actresses of the blue. And at another time, we are told that a space is parked outside a house. Again, realistically, there are very few Americans who drive French cars, and probably not Spaces. So why have adapted? The French public has seen enough American movies and series to learn a little "world" American and did not require that he put things typically French. And yet, I guess we should count ourselves lucky to have escaped the stereotype of the R4! Good
otherwise, except those small negatives, it's really a nice book, no-brainer, that has a good hold, which is good smile, and that also reads very quickly. I wait to see the further adventures of Dresden.

Poptropica Hack For Crediets

72nd Madness: The 71st Strike Rider

Coup
the Cavalier (Knight Moves)

of
Walter John Williams

Two miracles have opened to men the way of the stars: a inexhaustible source of energy and the secret of immortality. However, isolated by the barrier speed of light, the colonies become sclerotic; about immortality, it distills its insidious poison: boredom ...
Alone owner of a depopulated Earth by galactic diaspora, Doran Falkner The author of two miracles, in seeking a third to lead humanity out of its torpor. The answer lies perhaps in the world Amaterasu, where placid animals seem able to teleport like the rider flying over the chessboard squares. Unless the centaurs ...?

This book was read as part of a partnership between:
L'Atalante AND Livraddict

Firstly thank you to L'Atalante for sending me this book very nice and very pleasant to read.
I must say I was quite surprised with the theme of the book and the summary, I expected a more hard-science novel, and maybe blow a little harder to read. In reality it is nothing but a novel that focuses more on the human side of the story on the technical side, although there are few descriptions here and there a little more complex than the rest .
Funny because the book is organized into different chapters, and sometimes they themselves are divided by subtitles part. It follows therefore
Doran Faulkner, whom he is now almost eight hundred years has revolutionized humanity. This has been a galactic diaspora following treatment to regain youth and vitality, and acquire a form of immortality. Faulkner is now virtually the sole owner of the Earth and he enjoys rebuilding old ancient monuments as they were in their time. That's about at this point that landed Brian McGivern, a former lawyer who Doran appealed at the time his discoveries. He then speaks of these creatures able to teleport instantly from one place to another. He wants Doran joins the scientists who study these animals will go to try to unravel the mystery of teleports in order to apply it to humans. What would constitute a third revolution, since mankind is still unable to overcome the constraints of the speed of light and travel stellar therefore take many years he must go into hibernation.
So on this basis that the story starts. It's quite surprising and original as the beginning, because in the first pages, Doran living on the site of Delphi with restored monuments, it seems to be in Ancient Greece. Then with the arrival of McGivern it is projected into the distant future.
It is also original from the author to have imagined a humanity always subject to the speed barrier of light. It is rather rare in a science fiction novel, and it provides an opportunity to explore things that we rarely see.
As the problems of hibernating versus someone left on a planet and it continues to age and for whom time is running normally. Thus, for example, that Mary, the woman is in love Doran hibernate is time that the research team is assembled, but it goes well next to any child of his son who becomes a virtual stranger to her.
The author with his idea of treating conferring immortality almost imagine people also raises issues related to aging, he imagines that some may refuse treatment and wish to grow old and eventually die. It also explores the reactions of others facing this choice, some find it absurd and do everything to convince them to change their minds, others do not agree, but accept it ...
In summary, this is a very dense book, with full topics discussed, full of different ideas, but it is a book that reads quickly, and especially it reads very well. The pages turn very quickly, it is sometimes difficult to stop. And when you stop, it is surprising to read as many pages. It is a very good book of SF, which can be read without hesitation.

Connect A Ballast With Hps Lamp

Madness: The Psalms of Isaak, Volume 2: Song

Back Appointed to the land. The army general wandering and the Lord of the Nine Houses Woodland, was entrusted with the treasure and the power of the old order dissolved nine months earlier. Today, many noble allies arrived to attend a banquet in honor of the firstborn of General Rudolfo. But while the party in full swing, invisible assassins burst into the banquet hall.

This book was read as part of a partnership between:
Bragelonne AND Livraddict

Thank editions Bragelonne Livraddict and allowing me to receive the following Lamentation of which I had already received through them, and whose post is here . I have really enjoyed this first volume, but I must say that Song is even better, even stronger.
The novel is always built the same way as before with an alternation of the characters and their situation. We thus find all the characters we followed in Lament! Rudolfo, Jin Li Tam Tam Li Vlad, Petronus, Neb. ... We also monitors new winters as we had discovered in the previous volume through the eyes of particular Neb.
It also sees the emergence of many new characters relatively large. Some are rather obscure and there will certainly be more on them in the following novels.
Song is faster than Lamentation, because there is no need to make this presentation of the characters and the setting up of the situation. It begins a few months after the end of the previous book. And the action starts right away, and the least we can say is that it starts strong.
entire plot of this book as the first revolves around the concept of invisible plot. We discover more things about why and how all these events. Some revelations are sensational and really surprising. The least we can say is that Ken Scholes knows his audience with surprise twists at the least unexpected.
The plot is really involved, there is no dead time of passage where one might get bored. Even the passages "calm" are captivating and fascinating. The situations are really well fed, and the reactions of characters not always what one might expect. I am surprised one or two occasions yelling at the characters, it proves just how I got into the novel.
My favorite character is undoubtedly Tam Li Jin, a strong woman who must cope with many things and yet still proud and dignified (funny detail and unimportant, it is described as being red, and yet in my head I imagine with intense black hair).
Parts with Vlad Li Tam, embarrassed me by cons, but I think it was voluntary on the part of the author, to create unease.
In the end, Ken Scholes sign again a very very good book it is difficult to close and leave once it has started.

70th Madness: The CV of God

The CV of God

of Jean-Louis Fournier

The sky was over, the earth was finished, the animals were finished, the man was over. God thought it was over too, and sank into a deep melancholy. he did not know what to wear. He made some pottery, kneads a ball of earth, but the heart was gone. He had more confidence in him, he had lost faith. God no longer believed in God. He needed emergency activity, new projects, large construction sites. He decided to seek work, and, like everyone else, he wrote his curriculum vitae ...

few days ago I received this very funny little book sent by God itself she had even autographed! It was a big surprise because I was not expecting it.
So I read a few pages on receipt, and it looks very promising. Then I put it aside with a book already under way to resume this morning finally. So it's really a little book which reads very quickly, which read 137 pages in three-quarters of an hour, an hour ... I must say that it's written quite large, with parts rather short, making an entire page for a sentence as part of blank pages to separate sections ...
This book is actually a series of interviews between God and a Director of Personnel carefully studying the CV of the Almighty, and returns on certain items. This gives rise to trade rather comical and flavorful, especially course God's answers to questions we asked. Some parts starting with copies of psychological tests and other matters which were passed to God, or a summary of his schedule for the day, there is even a reproduction of several letters exchanged between God and "His Holiness" These letters are strong and tasty it is personally my favorite part (especially the end of this part) even if the whole book is very well written and filled with a slightly caustic humor to God of course, but also to the humans who take for their degree as well.
Ultimately I did not see the time spent reading this small book, it is perhaps even a bit of a shame it was not a bit longer. I also feel that this book could be broken (or might be) in other forms, drama, series of skits, Comics, Cartoon ... I really liked, and I doubly thank God (the one who sent me the book, and that the said book) for making me spend a good time with a book that I would certainly not yet purchased myself.

Survey Questions About Venereal Disease

69th Madness: The Hobbit 68th

Bilbo, like all hobbits, is a tranquil little being n not like being disturbed when he is at the table. But one day his peace is disturbed by the arrival of a wizard named Gandalf and thirteen dwarves beards who have one thing in mind: to recover the treasure of their ancestors, stolen by the dragon Smaug in the Lonely Mountain . Following a misunderstanding, Bilbo finds himself driven in this perilous expedition.

Bilbo is a story that JRR Tolkien had written for his children and he did not really publish one day. And then the script began circulating among his friends and eventually landed an editor who asked to be able to finish the print. And it gave The Hobbit.
The story begins with the encounter between Bilbo and Gandalf, a meeting which happens also not very good. Following this, Bilbo is embarked on a perilous quest for treasure in the company of thirteen dwarves.
He finds herself having to go retrieve the treasure of the dwarves, who is in custody a gigantic dragon terrifying it all the fault of Gandalf who was posing as a burglar talent with them.
Bilbo will be more or less forced to go on an adventure in the company of dwarfs. The path to the place where the treasure is long and perilous course and strewn with obstacles. At the beginning of the story Bilbo is clearly lagging behind, thinking only one thing to the comfort of his hole under the hill, constantly complaining, it is even on the edge of being a dead weight for dwarfs, but gradually as the story progresses and certain events occur, Bilbo shown courage and boldness, and gradually it even as it dwarfs account for their decisions. It is also that when the situation threatens to turn into tragedy because of the stubbornness of dwarves Leader has a brilliant idea for the settlement of the situation, although ultimately other events will not have its scope it could have.
Bilbo is a very endearing character, he is the epitome of the anti-hero who is thrown into an adventure against his will and who would give anything to escape it. It is funny to see change as you go. One point that bothered me, but that is not specially important is that we we repeatedly described as Bilbo smaller than dwarfs, but for my part I had trouble me to represent it as such ...
In the end, Bilbo is a sympathetic book is oriented to young teens who leave but read smoothly by an older audience.

Japanees Wedding Cards

Madness: Diary of a bipolar 67th

Diary of a bipolar
of
Patrice Guillon Emilie Guillon and Sebastien Samson

Diary of a bipolar is the autobiographical story upsetting to a young woman plagued by a fluctuation abnormal mood disorders.
If bipolar disorder is a psychiatric disorder is well known, few witnesses who are just in its appearance and its impact on daily life.

This book is beautiful, simple and strong. This book really touched me. He also raised a concern when I got it done. Namely, how I could talk about it. Is it simply that I had to speak only of the book, stay basic as I usually ...
In fact, this book touched me especially because I am also bipolar. So there are many situations in which I saw Camille found myself ...
While accurate, although the young author is Emilie Guillon, and it is indeed an autobiography, the main character called Camille. It does not explain why, but we can reasonably assume that it is to allow Emilie Guillon take some distance with the story.
What is interesting is that the story of Camille, is interspersed with moments in the "present" moments when she discusses with her father to explain things, which are times when she wants to stop " because it serves no purpose "and that two days later she is seen to phone his father to apologize.
These cuts in the story shows that even now not everything is set for Camille, there are still some extreme moments. Otherwise
history of Camille is very well told, very touching, and I think she can help raise awareness to someone who is not familiar or not this disease, difficulties in live with, especially the enormous difficulties in finding a doctor who can finally put a correct diagnosis. Camille for example, will almost 4 years to finally tell her doctor that she is bipolar.
The story is simple, fair, it does not fall into the sordid and the pathos. It feels good Emilie Guillon has not made this one for the comics complain, or complain. She just wanted to let his testimony on something that remains too little known, so that this disease affects at least 6% of the general population.
The design is very well found, not a black design that would have increased the overloaded story, which might have given a pathetic dimension. Instead, we have a clear picture, that just completely black and white, which enhances the story. Some may find too stylized, not realistic enough, but it seems to me that style would have further served the purpose. Unlike a traditional comics, drawing seemed a little secondary to the text where it usually would almost tell the story. Not that it is not important, but more attention is paid to the text and that explains Camille, it is no longer there to support the text than the reverse. And we must congratulate the designer Sébastien Samson which was apparently the first BD to have been able to image both the difficult story of Emilia / Camille.
I do not know how someone will receive the external testimony, but I must say that for me it was sometimes difficult, (not because it was bad, but because it touched me too) and I had to cut my reading of this album in pieces over several days.
I certainly hope, as Dr. Gay signing the afterword that this book will help people facing the disease to recognize or to people face to people in these situations to finally understand them better, and realize they do not pretend that this is not something that can be removed overnight. And it should also be read by doctors who too often confuse bipolarity and depression and stuff sick of antidepressants which often leads to dramatic situations.
Ultimately, it is obviously a blow of heart for me, and I hope he can be for many readers.

Madness: The Big Empty Too Alphonse Stool

The Too Big Empty Alphonse Stool
of
Sibylline, Capucine and Jerome Aviau

Once upon a time, Alphonse Stool. He was born in a forest, Sir, that was a bit busy with him, but not for long. One day the gentleman is angry, for a trifle nothing at all, leaving Alfonso himself. This is where his journey begins. Throughout the meetings, he discovers people, creatures, gadgets, which do grow a bit and make it nice and adventures without really wanting too. The TGV Alphonse stool, it's a walk a little naive and tender, sometimes funny stuff.

Talking Alphonse Stool ... It's so magical and special that it is not easy to find the words to speak, to make people want to read it. Yet it must be read, once you have it in their hands, it was very difficult to let go, you say "ho I'll just read this page" and before that realizing it was up 10 pages! The TGV
Alphonse stool is commonly abbreviated as a comic. But not a comic classic, do not expect to find bubbles and boxes defining each drawing. Not the transcribed words of pesonnages are bottom of the page with a picture in front of their faces expressing emotion. Say it as it may seem strange, but in fact it works very well, and we do not pay attention.
At first saw the drawing might pass for summary and basic, but it must linger to understand that it is much more work than it seems, and that this impression of simplicity is there to serve the story .
It therefore follows the life of a character who will be called Alphonse Stool. In fact, the subject is somehow the quest for friendship and the discovery of the world by this little character through encounters unusual and touching moments of melancholy, yet it is never as dramatic. From the moment you open the book, was smiling all the time. Not that this is funny, even if it happens, it's more that it's cute, pretty, beautiful even ... The style of the sentences is also very apt indeed. They are simple and very eloquent, very graphic. It's hard to explain with words they must see to understand.
In any case these images "simple" with the text "simple" (even if these are only impressions and behind that lies a greater depth) that adheres well to make this comic so special. BD which will appeal to both large and small, and it is also difficult to tell if it was designed for a specific audience or whether it was designed to please the greatest number, regardless of age.
In the end, we are here facing a real gem, we will not tire of reading and rereading, as it gives a smile every time. Anyway for me it's a real blow of heart!

How Many Hair Weave Do You Need For Full Head

66th Madness: The Face of God

The Face of God
of
Igor and Grischka Bogadnov

The "face of God"? It is the expression used by astrophysicist George Smoot (Nobel Prize 2006) when April 23, 1992, he succeeded, thanks to the COBE satellite, taking photos of the birth of the universe as it emerged from the cosmic darkness just 380,000 years after the Big Bang.
Since this term has been around the world, triggered the fury of the scientists, and upset the faithful. But, beyond these few words, what is the amazing secret behind the "baby universe"? Smoot Why is there seen the "face of God"? This book - fueled revelations provided by the new Planck satellite launched May 14, 2009 - approaches, as ever, this supreme mystery: the moment of Creation.
Three of the heroes of this fantasy adventure - Jim Peebles (Crafoord Prize in astronomy 2005), Robert W. Wilson (Nobel Prize 1978) and John Mather (Nobel Prize 2006) - afterword that book over which it is realized that science sometimes merges with the highest spirituality.

First, we must recognize that this book reads very easily, the authors have a very good style that flows well. Except maybe the two last three chapters employ some slightly more technical terms.
course given the subject of the book, one must have some knowledge of physics and astronomy, if albeit very simplified we may still not understand much.
The chapters are very short, about ten pages on average. They always end in a way that makes you want to know what's next.
The summary is not necessarily very explicit, focusing on the most famous expression of the "Face of God" much more "spectacular". This is mainly due to trace an outline and a simplified history of the universe, and the state of knowledge and discovery about it since the 20th century, globally and specifically in the last 50 years.
It's pretty funny to hear such a genius like Einstein was convinced that the Universe was fixed, had no beginning and never ending. He was so convinced he was dealing with violent and contemptuous manner the few scientists who dared to try to prove otherwise.
And it is also strange to hear that what most of us learned in school and take for granted, namely the Big Bang, has actually been proved only in 1965.
You learn really interesting things about how the researchers during all these years, made these discoveries, the earliest that issued the assumptions in the wildest can not prove anything, then the following that darkened the pages and pages of complicated calculations, to today where most of the old as new hypotheses and theories can be verified using satellite observation extremely powerful and capable of extreme precision.
We also learn that the universe is what it is thanks to the "laws" extremely accurate, up to several tens of decimal places. One might say that such precision is strange, and that's exactly what researchers have said that have been simulated by calculations taking values slightly higher or lower simply by increasing or decreasing by 1 the last digit ... And it turns out that each of these laws, simply change the last digit of 1 gives results quite impressive, in all cases where the universe as we know it would not. No galaxies, no stars, no planets, and especially no life.
And anyway, this leads many researchers to say that this is all very well calculated, and seems to have some sort of purpose, the emergence of life. And suddenly some think it could be something, a force, a kind of intelligence may be behind the Big Bang. This hypothesis
interesting and attractive, but I am a little suspicious to me, it makes me think about creationism or intelligent design theory . It is the only point that I shall make a reserve against this book which otherwise is very well designed, very well written and formidably documented because of the special relationship of the two authors with many scientists mentioned in this book .

What Is Zepose-10 Pill?

65th Madness: The River of Eternity, Volume 1: The 64th World River

River of Eternity, Volume 1: The World River
To Your Scattered Bodies Go
of
Philip Jose Farmer

All the dead are resurrected from the earth!

They wake up today at the edge of a river known - not least on a planet unknown. Died in childhood or very old, obscure or famous, they all now twenty-five years. The golden age ... and after all the good life since, along the river, "stations" offer them food, tobacco, alcohol, etc..

A happiness that does not prevent some from asking questions.

Bouh how poor summary ... Said like that, it is not too keen, and more things are not quite true, there are still children by example, and it is not really the age that the resurrected ... While young, but without precise age ...
I read this book there are over ten years, and I really enjoyed, and for some time, I really want to read it again.
First, it is almost as I remembered. The story is really original, it starts with the awakening of everyone along the river, and the first reaction of each variety.
Immediately, we look to that to be the protagonist of the story: Richard Francis Burton. The famous military officer, fencer explorer, writer and poet, translator, linguist, orientalist, Sufi master, ethnologist, diplomat. For those not familiar with Burton (which as you can imagine the numerous jobs he held, had a rich life): Wiki.
We will follow Burton, who will meet many people, more or less famous, such as Alice who served as the inspiration for "Alice in Wonderland", or one of the first Roman emperors, and others. ..
Burton is the epitome of adventurous as one might imagine, strong, intelligent, charismatic with an aura ... It does not take long to unite a small group around him and they decide to go up the river, going to its source, to try to find something that would help them understand what they're doing ...
But Burton is also a macho, that even if he likes women, still tend to regard them as inferior, and at times it's a bit annoying it must be acknowledged.
I especially hope that this is the character who wants it and not the author's style, but I seem to recall that in the second volume, the main character changes, so we'll see if that machismo is preserved or not.
Anyway, it's a really good book, which after all was not so old, and we always take great pleasure to read, and we did not really want to let go when it started ...

Madness: Tales and Legends unfinished, Volume 2: The Second Age

I am not abstract, this is exactly the same as for the 1st, chronicled here .
Once again we are plunged into the fantastic world of Tolkien. It starts directly with a story describing the geography of Númenor and was then more interested in stories various characters of Númenor and then the story of Galadriel.
As usual everything is extremely interesting, and incredibly rich. Tolkien had thought of everything, he even thought about the origin of the names of his characters, their past, the past of his universe, the story of characters who would probably never be developed and stories. For example, he invented the whole chronology and genealogy of the kings of Númenor, he even invented the laws and customs that govern the kingdom.
History of Galadriel is very interesting as we see the character's past, it allows to better understand the relation to its brief appearance in The Lord of the Rings. No
stories (except the first on the geography of Númenor) is completed, but it has many notes by Christopher Tolkien, who puts the pieces of writings quee his father had envisaged as a result. Sometimes there are two or three different versions. Sometimes Christopher Tolkien also explains that his father had undertaken to modify certain stories. The History of Galadriel example would probably have been quite different if Tolkien had been completed, and it would have caused some major changes in other stories, like The Silmarillion for example.
It is truly aware by reading the pieces that put Christopher Tolkien and reading the notes he made that his father was in fact an eternal unsatisfied. It is likely that most of what was published after his death, would in any case never even been finished had he lived longer.
This probably means that today's universe is so unique and it remains for most people the standard for fantasy. Because the universe is coherent, structured, and has a history that is not artificial, a history in which we believe without asking questions, so that seems obvious. Besides Christopher Tolkien takes several pieces of both letters or notes that his father wrote. And as he speaks, he gives the impression of speaking of something past, which lacks the elements today, or stories with multiple sources that explain the different versions.
All this is, again, is an outstanding book that devours itself extremely quickly.

63rd Madness: The Psalms of Isaak, Volume 1: Lamentation

City of windws has been destroyed, and with it the Great Library where lay the world's memory. The shock of the disaster broke the balance of political and religious land called, stirs up envy, revived the conspiracy, undermines alliances. War is inevitable. Rudolfo
Gypsy King, Lord of the Nine Houses Woodland, was the first on the scene and collected in the ruins of an automatic metal. Shaken with sobs and plagued by guilt, it accuses of being behind the tragedy. What is its terrifying secret? Was it manipulated? Who wanted the destruction of windws and why? But now
Neb., a young orphan monk who witnessed the horror begins to prophetic dreams ...

This book was read as part of a partnership between:

First Editions Bragelonne thank you for allowing me to discover this beautiful book. As usual it is a book that is beautiful in addition to being interesting. With
Lamentation, we have in our hands the first volume of a saga set to take place over five pounds. A saga so ambitious, and will have the merit of being original by offering us something else a trilogy.
The story is really found, the destruction of the city of all knowledge and quest for the truth about who is responsible and why they may have wanted to destroy it is very well done.
In this world there is no strange creatures, not magic, or almost none. The only magic that we see at work is behind the destruction of windws and "Magyk" for the scouts of the various camps become somewhat invisible.
This world is interesting and intriguing, because we very often refer to the "Desert Bubbly" was the ancient lands of different Peoples Lands Named destroyed following a magical cataclysm caused by the former "great" bad guy. And as we're talking about, it seems that land possessed very advanced technology, even "futuristic", and what are its technology as their descendants are seeking to recover by meticulous excavations near the Desert, and are then stored and distributed in a very cautious to prevent a catastrophe from happening again.
So the point early in the book, then the city is destroyed, with all the knowledge she was home. We will then follow different characters all involved directly or indirectly in this event. There
course Sethbert, the character you hate right now, we are told clearly from the outset, he is the villain, plus he spends his time to boast. Rudolfo
There is sort of the heroes of history, who immediately decided to rebuild on their land, where the Library had gathered all this knowledge. It was also
Jin Li Tam, which is a complex character, a woman who subtly maneuver to follow the plans of his father. A strong and beautiful woman, far from defenseless woman.
There are still several other characters very important, but I'm not going to detail here.
This story is very well built and thought, because of the destruction of this city than you might think have been caused by a madman, we see as and when reading, the situation is much more complex than it first appears. So some things we took for granted, take one shot another look in light of a different explanation.
This book reminds me strangely Dune for the history of the father of Li Jin Tam, and his past. I do not want to say too much not to reveal pieces of history, but those who read Dune may find some resemblance to the Bene Gesserit. But this is not a defect nearby, saw it rather well, because in this context, it is rather surprising.
This book may surprise some fans of the fantasy "combat" shall we say, because in this particular book, even if there are few, this is not what is most important, c ' is more character development and understanding of everything that revolves around the destruction of windws.
In the end, so it's a very good book which has been eager to know the result, even if it could almost stand on its own. I think it was no big frustration in the end, because it's really an end, not a break in the middle of something.

Panty Peeking Through Jeans

62nd Madness: Madness 61st

Headquarters, No. = 1
of
Brian Michael Bendis and Olivier Coipel

Here is the first issue of a new and, as often in a crossover , ephemeral magazine featuring the Marvel characters. Here starts
therefore the crossover Siege. Why Siege? Because Norman Osborn, which (as you know if you followed the Marvel magazines in recent months) is the "protector of America" in the guise of Iron Patriot, has decided to launch the assault Asgard against which (as you also know: P) lies above Broxton, Oklahoma. Indeed, it decided that the arrival of Asgard on Earth and its "installation" above Broxton (which absolutely does not bother anyone there) was an invasion. So he launched his "Avengers" against the walls of Asgard, following a simulated disaster would have caused an Asgardian, and in fact orchestrated by himself.
The second part, as often in recent years in the special numbers of crossovers, we forwarded the reporter Ben Urich, a reporter at the Front Line, an independent newspaper that does not mince his words against Osborn. Party Chicago to cover the famous disaster "caused" by Volstagg one of the "Three Warriors" friends of Thor. It will then fall on the said Volstagg and take the opportunity to seek the truth behind these events.
The story is nice, you never get bored while reading it, unlike the last crossover "Secret Invasion" where we still had a little feeling of being cheated ... The design of Olivier Coipel for all the first part is as always superb. Cartoon by Chris Samnee second part is not bad too, but in a quite different kind. That
, so if you're a fan of Marvel series and you've followed a bit in recent months, please, Siege worth buying, in addition there will be four issues normally.

Black Hair Blue Eyes Male

Siege: Kookaburra Universe, Volume 12: The Honor of the 60th sniper

Kookaburra Universe, Volume 12: The Honor of the sniper
of
Mitric Nicolas and Christophe Alliel

is the story of a legendary name in the entire universe, that of Preko ...
The story of his origin, his death and rebirth.
The story of a dark past who eats and eats, in which one tries to escape and eventually you face in the hope of liberation.
The story of a future course by a terrible legacy never claimed. It is a story of men and friendship, but above all a story of honor ...
Honor the sniper!

Here is Volume 12 of this friendly series taking place in the universe Series Kookaburra. As a reminder, we follow each volume a new team of writers and artists, focusing on a very special piece of this gigantic universe created by Criss.
In this 12th volume, we find the creative team of the first volume, it is a question of fact in its direct sequel. So, even if it can be read in a totally Independent (which I did), it is still better read the following two or reread volume 1 forward.
Here we focus on the formation of space sniper Dragan Preko. And in parallel we learn the story of the "real" Preko, Mitchell Preko. And we learn that he too was not his real name.
The story is a bit confusing, it is unclear how the final position of the instructor Dragan ... Throughout the comic, it seems to be the bad guy to shoot a turnaround but the final fact that I was a little lost. I do not know if do not have in mind the first BD played or not ...
Otherwise the story is good, you learn a lot about the Preko spent, and it complicates the story a little more about Dragan. The drawings are still as good as always in this series, regardless of the designer who takes over ... Finally
for fans of the series and Kookaburra Kookaburra Universe, throw you on it without fear is a comic quality. But remember you can re-read the first volume of Kookaburra Universe before.

Madness: Spin

Spin
of
Robert Charles Wilson

One October night, Tyler Dupree, twelve, and his two best friends, Jason and Diane Lawton, fourteen years, attending the sudden disappearance of stars. Soon, humanity discovers that the Earth is surrounded by a fence outside the time which elapses millions of times faster. The moon has disappeared, the Sun is a sham, artificial satellites have fallen back to earth. But the most serious is that the rate at which older now the real sun, mankind has only a few decades to live ...
Who has imprisoned behind the Earth Shield in October? And if it is extraterrestrial, why have they done so ?

Read in the context of SC scheduled for October 5.
was the third novel by the author after I read The Chronolites and Darwinia, I already liked the first and loved the second and the third book confirms the talent of Robert Charles Wilson. It's a great writer of science fiction, no doubt that in years to come it will be considered an author "classic".
His science-fiction is not flashy with rifle battles in space, or ultra-science is above all a human SF. Even if technology plays an important role in this book, one quickly realizes it is there primarily for highlighting the characters, she is not the star.
Wilson talking about an Earth that would be suddenly cut off from the rest of the universe by a sort of permeable membrane which would nevertheless respect a temporal effect. Outside this membrane time goes hundreds of times faster. This is apparent when, attempting to launch satellites to understand what happens they fall almost immediately, and yet contain hours and hours of data. It follows therefore
decades the lives of Tyler, Jason and Diane. You see them change, we see them make choices that bring them closer, choices that distance, choices that make them grow and change. We see how each reacts differently to things. Tyler does not really seem to ask questions, he takes things as they are, Diane turned to spirituality, and Jason, gifted curious and eager to know that he is trying to understand the mystery of Spin and This membrane will be named soon.
But obviously, it does not follow that the lives of these three main characters. It also follows them through some other characters, like the parents of Jason and Diane, or mother of Tyler, and their quite different ways and respond well to them. Through
Jason is also following the meager understanding is that as and when the spin, its consequences, its possible causes, its possible reasons. Understanding the reasons for the Spin is rather well fed, it does not intervene in a brutal way to the end of the story, no she is fed gradually and is very original and surprising. I do not think anyone expected such an explanation and for such a purpose.
The construction of the story is original, perhaps a little unsettling at first, but we made it very quickly. Indeed, the author alternates between a chapter in which Tyler tells her this, and several chapters are somewhat flashbacks of his past life, flashbacks that gradually lead to the time of his present.
Ultimately, it is a really good novel, very well written, very engaging, very readable I found. A sequence exists, I would read it for sure, but still is it that this book stands on its own. When we finished, we do not necessarily need a sequel.
